MARITIME PARTNER DELIVERS PASSENGER VESSEL TO KRAGERØ FJORDBÅTSELSKAP.
The vessel, named "Jomfruland," is an ALUSAFE CAT 20, produced and manufactured by Maritime Partner in Aalesund. Designed by Engineer Ola Lilloe-Olsen, the hull boasts efficient, modern lines, minimizing wave heights for optimal performance.
We are proud to deliver our latest catamaran to Kragerø Fjordbåtselskap. The vessel is incredibly quiet, providing a pleasant and comfortable experience for passengers and crew. The customer has placed great emphasis on this, and we are pleased to deliver a vessel that creates little "sea," which was also a main focus area from the customer, says Silje Nogva, project manager at Maritime Partner."
It also runs smoothly in the sea and achieves good speed relative to the motorization. The spacious wheelhouse offers great visibility and pleasant working conditions for the crew, ensuring a comfortable and efficient working day on board. The engine room is also designed with easy access to service points in mind and is arranged to make maintenance and service as simple as possible," concludes Nogva.

"We are very pleased to receive our new build "Jomfruland" and look forward to putting it into operation in the Kragerø archipelago," says Georg Andreas Steintveit, CEO of Kragerø Fjordbåtselskap IKS. KFS and the shipyard have also focused on good passenger comfort in the construction of the vessel.
"Jomfruland gives us increased capacity with space for a total of 60 passengers, while meeting universal design requirements, which is important for us. We are proud that we can now offer passengers and crew a modern vessel that provides both better comfort and accessibility," says Steintveit.
The vessel has a hydraulic gangway in the bow that contributes to safe boarding and disembarkation for passengers at various piers. On deck, there is ample space for bicycles, and indoors you will find a bright and spacious lounge with panoramic views of the archipelago.Initially, the vessel will undergo testing and training locally in Kragerø before gradually being put into regular service. We have a strong focus on safety, and we will ensure that the crew receives thorough training while also testing all technical aspects locally before the vessel is put into regular service," concludes Steintveit.
