ALUSAFE 700 WF
The Alusafe 700 WF is a rigid fast rescue craft with a hull of marine aluminium specially designed for service in the offshore wind business. For this special Wind Farm (WF) version, a bow ramp with design suitable for an IMCA standardised boat landing is fitted complete with fender and handrails. The craft is designed, built and equipped to comply with the requirements according to Solas and LSA rules for fast rescue boats. Type approved and certified by DNV. Alusafe 700 MKII is designed to meet the strictest requirements and built for demanding operations offshore. The craft is fully welded of extrusions and plates. Longitudinal bulkheads and longitudinal stiffeners and the keel section provides strength and protects the bottom shell. Further on the hull is divided into five separate watertight compartments. The cockpit is made of GRP and provides seating for a crew of two, side by side. It gives excellent protection for the crew and allows easy access to manoeuvring and all of the instruments.The craft is installed with a fixed lifting arrangement, compliant to the new IMO Res. MSC.320(89) regarding lifting appliances. On top of the frame there is a Henriksen off-load release hook. Options available: Swivel, davit docking, remote release and NORSOK R-002 compliance.
