The ALUSAFE CAT 21 is a low wash passenger catamaran built with low hull resistance and proven design. Benefits of this design are low fuel cost and a environment friendly operation.
Alusafe Cat 21 is a versatile vessel that can be fitted with either fixed pitch propellers, waterjets, IPS and propellers. Twin engine installation with separate fuel tanks gives full redundancy, which increases safety and reliability. As an option, the vessel can be delivered with a high engine output and a top speed of 30 knots.
The hull and main deck are constructed from marine grade aluminium. The superstructure is made from GRP sandwich material. Normal crew size is 3 persons. Number of passengers is maximum 97 person, each in aeroplane type seating in main deck lounge. The top deck can accommodate all passengers for sight seeing. Up to 6 pallets can be lifted on/off by a crane mounted on the fore deck.
The vessel has a total fuel capacity of 2000 liters (2 x 1000 ltr.).
Freshwater capacity: 200 liters. Wastewater: total 1000 liters.
The Alusafe Cat 21 has a universal design that supports people with reduced mobility to get onboard. The vessel is further on built according to Maritime Partner high standards.
